How it works?
This is a participatory event, with everyone who comes participating in some way. And everyone pays a contribution of £25 - we are all creating this together! Some people will be contributing to set up the Fayre, provide food, children's entertainment, music or build toilets. Most will be helping with getting in the apple harvest - picking and juicing. There will be juicing sessions between 10am and 1pm and 2pm and 5pm on both Saturday and Sunday, and everyone will need to join at least one of those sessions. There will be a board for adding your name on to one of those sessions.
What's involved in the picking and juicing?
The apple picking and juicing is a fun communal activity involving a team of pickers in the orchards filling wheelbarrows with picked apples and windfalls, and a team of juicers working together to turn the apples into beautiful sweet juice. That involves a washer, cutter, scratter, someone on the press, and a bottler or two. All will become clear over the weekend - it's easy to pick up, we have had many juicing days here now and sometimes the problem is getting people to stop!
What's on offer?
You will receive free camping with hot showers, a free vegetarian meal, musical soirees in our marquee and round the fire, Kid's entertainment, workshops, meditations and demonstrations as well as bodywork sessions in our wellness tent - and more.
Can I just come for one day?
Yes. Saturday is £15, and Sunday £10. The reason for this is there is a full musical line-up on Saturday night, and a much shorter one on Sunday.
Can I bring my dog?
Sorry, we aren't allowing dogs. There are cats who live here, and also one well trained dog who knows where the cats' territory boundaries are. Als0 free range chickens that mustn't be chased.

This is a healing centre devoted to supporting people becoming more conscious not less! There will be parts of Avalon Permaculture gardens where no smoking or drinking is permitted - these will be clearly marked. There will be no smoking in the marquee or any other indoor areas. Please do not leave cigarette buts lying around.
Can I invite my friends too?
Yes. Whilst this is a friends of Avalon Permaculture Gardens event, we are happy for you to invite your friends. They will need to make the £30 and juicing contribution too. But it is not an event that is being publicised widely - everyone here will have an immediate connection to one another and the land here.
For any more information please contact Dan on firstname.lastname@example.org.
